Riss struggled with isolation throughout the pandemic. Their social groups were split between being too reckless with safety, or too locked-down, and as a result Riss was in a pandemic pod of one.
"I want people to see that the pandemic has not only isolated me physically, but emotionally and mentally, because I cannot connect on surface level alone, and I cannot connect to friends and family that do not take this virus seriously."
